Growing Together Preschool, Inc. is excited to be the FIRST Farm to Preschool program in the state of Kentucky. This partnership involves the Kentucky Department of Agriculture, Lazy Eight Stock Farm, Stepping Stone Farm and gives us the Kentucky Proud Designation.
FARM TO PRESCHOOL
As a Farm to Preschool program, we are proud to source our vegetables and most fruits directly from local farms. Our produce from Lazy Eight Stock Farm is certified organic, ensuring the highest quality for our children. While Stepping Stone Farm is not certified organic due to the challenges of organic fruit farming, they prioritize natural and organic practices whenever possible.
We’re excited to offer fresh, seasonal, and locally grown food during the harvest season, providing nutritious meals that support healthy development.
Community Supported Agriculture
We’re excited to partner with Lazy Eight Stock Farm to offer weekly CSA baskets to GTP families!
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) connects families with local farmers, providing fresh, seasonal
produce while supporting sustainable farming.
By purchasing a CSA share at the start of the growing season, families receive a weekly selection of
farm-fresh fruits and vegetables. Complete the form on their website to set up your payment and
schedule. Enjoy farm-to-table goodness all season long!
Nutrition and Health Consulting
