What We Do

Our Programs

At Growing Together Preschool, we provide high-quality, inclusive early childhood education for children from birth to age five. Our programs are designed to support both children with and without disabilities, ensuring that every child receives the individualized care and learning experiences they need to thrive. With small class sizes, onsite therapeutic services, and a team of dedicated educators, we create a nurturing environment where all children can grow, learn, and build meaningful connections.

Our NAEYC Accreditation

Growing Together Preschool, Inc. is proud to be accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), the nation’s largest and most respected organization for early childhood education. Our Partnerships

We believe that strong partnerships enhance the quality of early childhood education. We collaborate with families, community organizations, and professionals to provide comprehensive support for every child. By working together, we create a nurturing environment where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.

Horn and Associates in Rehabilitation have been partners with GTP since the very beginning to provide therapeutic services to children in the program. Our therapists have been working closely with our teachers to ensure the goals of the families, therapists and teachers are incorporated into the services the child receives. This relationship enables our teachers to implement techniques recommended by the therapists in the classroom with the child as much as possible, increasing the child’s likelihood of reaching goals more successfully. Our therapists from Horn consult with teachers when they have a concern about a child whether that is to give teachers and parents tips for a child who may be struggling in an area but does not require full blown therapeutic services or to help the teachers and parents understand how therapy might be beneficial to help a child obtain a goal.

They also provide hearing and speech screenings for all of our PreK children and younger children if indicated and more in-depth screenings for children if our screenings indicate a concern.

Growing Together Preschool partners with Community Action Council as a site for the Foster Grandparent Program. Volunteers in the Foster Grandparent Program work one on one with children who have special and exceptional needs. This partnership contributes to our commitment to diversity and inclusion by providing a way for individuals from different generations to interact and learn from one another.

Educators from Blue Grass Greensource work with the PreK classes at GTP to provide activities to teach about waste reduction, energy conservation, and water quality. In 2013, we learned about what can and cannot be recycled with “Michael Recycle,” created worm composting bins and fed the worms scraps from the cafeteria, learned about Kentucky animals and the impact water quality has on those animals and learned about the effects of litter on local water quality.

Seedleaf works with us to install and maintain food gardens on the playground and to provide weekly gardening club activities for the children. We forged this partnership as part of our commitment to supporting the nutritional needs and physical development of the child. In addition to providing access to fresh, local foods through our Farm to Preschool program, we want children to understand where their food comes from and foster a connection to the planet and healthy choices through hands on involvement in planning, planting, caring for and harvesting food.

Wildwood Music Therapy offers compassionate, evidence-based music therapy services designed to support children in areas such as emotional regulation, communication, motor skills, cognitive development, and overall wellness. Our board-certified music therapists use live music: including singing, instrument play, movement, songwriting, and listening — to help children reach meaningful “non-musical” goals like improved attention, stronger social skills, enhanced speech and language, and better coping strategies. At Growing Together Preschool, the Wildwood team visits once a week for an hour, spending time in two classrooms to provide enriching, developmentally supportive musical experiences. Through these warm, engaging sessions, music becomes a bridge for growth, confidence, and connection, helping each child thrive.
