Our family is incredibly thankful for the care and compassion provided at Growing Together Preschool (GTP). My husband and I are both full-time Chief Warrant Officers in the Kentucky National Guard. We have two beautiful sons, Jackie (4) and Morgan (2). Morgan was diagnosed with Congenital CMV at birth and has significant developmental delays, hearing loss, vestibular loss, and is high risk for seizures and cerebral palsy. Morgan is also a loving, intelligent, funny, joyful, and inspiring little boy! Jackie is a kind, energetic, strong and super smart young man! The teachers, staff, and therapists at GTP accepted both of our children with loving arms and without reservation for what the future will hold. They take the time to learn from every child, understand their unique strengths and challenges, and create a plan to build on their success every day. It is a lot to ask of a group of people to care for your babies like you do, and it’s a lot more to ask them to take on a small child with special needs and a very rambunctious little boy! But they do it so proudly and confidently. They have helped coordinate therapy for both of our boys through Horn & Associates, and financial support through Child Care Aware. GTP has become a second home for all of us and we will forever be grateful for this special little Preschool nestled in the outskirts of Lexington, KY. They very well may have changed our life.
